Title: Painted glass snuff bottle with scenes of Liu Bei
Period: 19th Centrury;Dated to the Ren Xu Year, probably corresponding to 1862 or 1802

Inside hand painted on one side with two men (Liu Bei and his advisor) talking to each other next to a tree surrounded by foliage and inscribed with Chinese calligraphy. Inside hand painted on the other side with several armed soldiers and leader (Cao Cao) on horseback ready for battle, surrounded by foliage and inscribed with Chinese calligraphy. Comes with an agate snuff bottle stopper which is broken and stuck inside the snuff bottle. Chinese made.
